Prior to the Commencement ceremony, Ian and his wife Sonnet Goodenough ’89 McKinnon, were honored at the official dedication of McKinnon Hall on the East Campus. The Academy named McKinnon Hall last year in recognition of Ian and Sonnet’s $10 million gift to the school. Robed faculty, staff, and trustees gathered for the ribbon cutting and brief remarks before heading down the walkway to lead the Commencement processional.4
